Poole Hill Brewery Taproom – Closure 2nd March

Due to the state of the roads and pavements the tap room has decided to remain closed today (Friday 2nd March). We will continue to monitor the situation and update you all as soon as we know the situation going forwards.

Thank you for your continued support.

Thursday 1st March – Poole Hill Brewery – Early Closure 4:30pm

Due to the snow disrupting travel to and from the taproom at Poole Hill Brewery (for both our staff and visitors) we have made the decision to close early today, so will be shutting at 16:30.

We will keep you updated if the weather effects their opening hours over the next few day.

Many thanks for your continuing support.

Funding III – Investment Event

We would like to take this opportunity to meet up with potential new investors for our third round of crowd funding; as well as any existing investors who are interested is having a look round our new facility.

Monday 19th February – 19:00 to 21:00 – at Poole Hill Brewery

Having successfully crowd funded twice we have been able to undergo this sympathetic restoration of a Victorian building in the Triangle area of Bournemouth as well as installing a 20 barrel brewhouse capable of producing 15,000pints a week. Our award winning brands are about to fly onto the local ale market and from Easter our brewery will be operating daily tours through our visitors centre and taproom.

Keen not to stop there- we have been developing a secondary brand Tingay’s for the National market which will include a chain of branded bars across the country.

To sign up go to the Eventbrite Page and register your attendance.

Postcards from Dublin

Where we will be heading next on our adventure?

The red ales of Ireland which can be sampled in the taverns of the Temple Bar area of Dublin are quite different than our English ales and hopefully we shall be recreating the taste and experiencing some of the craic down the pub here in Dorset.

The hops have just been ordered including Galena, which impart some grape and peach flavours.

Crowd Funding Updates

22 May 2015

Dear Beer Lover,

After delays from the crowd funding service provider and not being prepared to radically alter my ethics; we have changed our platform.

The fundraiser will be starting on the 10th June and running for 30 days. During that time you can register with them to see details of our business plan, financial forecasts, exit strategies and much more.

I shall also be out and about at various venues should you wish to have a chat about any of the details, these will be posted on our Facebook site.

I hope that you find our plans interesting and please feel free to provide any feedback.

Crowd Funding Update`

Dear Beer Lovers,

The time is finally approaching when Bournemouth will have both award winning beaches and award winning ales. Southbourne Ales has finally found suitable premises to start brewing our ales in sunny Bournemouth.

Having won two awards in the last six months and successfully brewing and selling our range of eight beers in both cask and bottle; everything is coming together nicely. In order to fit out the brewery with a brewhouse, public bar and visitors centre we still need to raise a substantial sum of money and are looking for you to help by investing in our project and sharing this with your friends who might also like to be a part of this exciting project.
